When using aftermarket camshafts, the increased stress subjected to the original retainers makes them prone to failure, resulting in engine damage.

The OMI-performance titanium retainers are CNC-machined to reduce overall valve train mass and are made from TI6AL4V Titanium to offer a great reliability.
